British High Commission

I write to thank you for making last Friday’s celebration of the London 2012 Opening Ceremony such a success.  This was a unique occasion for all of us engaged in promoting London, and the UK more broadly, here in India.  We can proud of what we achieved together.

We have received many words of appreciation about the impressive venue set-up, the professionalism of your team working at the event, and the overall sense of fun.  The London & Partners gazebo certainly proved popular, including the quirky London touches, such as the board games.  And your generosity with the main prize underlined that this was a special evening.

The event turned out to be the perfect backdrop for Danny Boyle’s wonderful show.  The fact that we still had nearly 200 people in the garden at 1.30AM for the start of the Opening Ceremony speaks volumes about how much our guests enjoyed the evening.

It was pleasure to work with you.  I hope that we have the chance to do so again soon.
